Download CS 1.6 Zombie Edition

CS 1.6 Zombie is Counter-Strike 1.6 turned into a survival horror: at the start of the round someone becomes a zombie, and every hit spreads the infection. It’s one of the most played ways to enjoy 1.6 today, and this edition gives you everything for it in one download — zombie models, zombie maps and the Zombie Plague mode, playable offline with bots.

Zombie modes you can play

• Zombie Plague — humans hold a spot on the map and fight back, zombies infect them one by one. Special rounds (swarm, nemesis, survivor) keep it varied.
• Zombie Escape — humans run through a long ze_ map to the evacuation point while zombies chase them.
• Classic zombie — simple infection rounds, great for beginners.

What’s in the Zombie Edition

• Zombie player models, claws and sounds.
• Popular zombie maps (zm_ and ze_ prefixes).
• Bots that can play as zombies, so you can try the mode alone.
• Regular CS 1.6 maps and modes too — it’s a full game, not a mod you install on top.

Play zombie mode online

Zombie servers are some of the busiest CS 1.6 servers. Open the server browser in the game, filter by “zombie” in the name, or see how to play CS 1.6 online. Zombie Plague and Zombie Escape run on the server side, so you can join them with any build — this one just gives you the matching models and sounds.

How to install

1. Press Download and run the file.
2. Install to a folder with a Latin-only path.
3. Start New Game, choose a zm_ map and add bots with the H menu.
