CS 1.6 Cheats: Console Cheat Codes and the Cheater Edition

Here is the honest answer: Counter-Strike 1.6 has built-in cheat codes that work in your own game with bots, and there are aim configs that make shooting feel better anywhere. Both are below. CS 1.6 cheat codes (console)

Start a game with bots (New Game), open the console with the ~ key and first type:

sv_cheats 1

Then use any of these commands:

Aim cfg: what actually improves your aim

“Aim cfg” and “cs 1.6 aimbot cfg” are popular searches, but no config can aim for you. A good config removes things that get in the way:

• raw mouse input and the right sensitivity (m_rawinput 1, sensitivity 2),
• a small static crosshair (cl_dynamiccrosshair 0),
• stable network rates for clean hit registration (rate 25000, cl_updaterate 101, cl_cmdrate 101),
• fps_max 100 for smooth frames.
